When I first setup the device in my 2022 RAV4, it took nearly 90 seconds before the device would activate CarPlay and finally pop up on my display. That was not great. So, I followed the instructions included with the device to update the adapter’s firmware and now it starts up almost immediately after turning the car on, just as fast as my wired CarPlay starts.

It works!
I was tired of my wired connection, every time I would touch my phone it would randomly disconnect. This fixed that issue now that it’s wireless. You don’t lose sound quality either, there is a slight delay when you change songs but it’s not the end of the world. Totally worth the money.
